It's the middle of the night and I can't get to sleep, so rather than skulking on Facebook I thought I would post some housekeeping items and one thing that has been on my mind. Oh, and if you are looking back at this post while looking through the archives you might find this especially interesting.
First off: housekeeping. I know that my last TSaT was somewhat rambling and theoretical, so I promise to at least try to keep those posts more coherent. I will be most likely be making the TSaT's equal parts inspirational posts, theoretical posts, and stories abut funny and interesting things going on with me, because my life is just that cool. Be jealous. Be veeerrry jealous. Also, at the time of this posting, very few people are reading this blog. Those who are, say hello in the comments! I know you all pretty much at this point, so have some input and talk amongst yourselves. all friends of mine have a high probability of being friends with each other, so be friendly. Now on to the ramblings.
As I said before, at this time the only people reading this blog are the few friends and family that I have referred it to, but the amazing thing is that in something like the internet I can speak to more than the people who have followed from the start. There is a chance, albeit a very slim one, that you (the person reading this post) have sifted through the archives and gone all the way back to the beginning. If no one else ever ends up reading this blog, they will never know that this soliloquy was addressed to them and it will be addressed no no one. If anyone does make it here, however, this is somewhat magical; speaking out of the past to one possible future that came to pass. If that person is you, then this is my message: thank you. I hope now against hope that someday I may be someone or write something interesting enough for this blog to really be something - not just a way for people to keep up with my life while I'm at college, but really something - and you are the realization of this. If you never read this I need not feel embarrassed for that hope, but hope is being able to imagine that world in which the one in a million happens and step out on a limb towards that. If you are out there, out in my future, know this: you can do anything, be anything, if you believe it is possible. If you believe enough to start things at the beginning that could grow with time to be even more than what you had hoped, that future is not just great, but magical. Few things can carry through time, and hope is one of the most essential. Love defies time and thus carries through, but a hope that is strong enough can know time, predict it, and speak through to an older world.
